Get to Know Us
Sawyer Grace was born from lived experience, professional training, and a deep belief that healing happens in relationship.
Founded by a counsellor with a background in psychology, addiction studies, and psychosocial recovery, Sawyer Grace exists to support people navigating complexity — trauma, mental health challenges, identity, substance use, disconnection, and life transitions.
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practice. We recognise that distress does not exist in isolation — it is shaped by lived experience, systems, relationships, and history. Rather than asking “what’s wrong with you?”, we ask “what has happened, and what do you need now?”
Sawyer Grace offers counselling and psychosocial support that is human, respectful, and collaborative. We walk alongside individuals at their pace, honouring autonomy, dignity, and resilience. This includes working with people supported by the NDIS, young people, and those seeking meaningful recovery beyond symptom management.
At the heart of Sawyer Grace is the belief that people are not broken — they are adaptive, resourceful, and worthy of care. Our role is not to “fix”, but to support safety, insight, reconnection, and growth.
